Omega Plastics Group has enhanced its moulding capabilities at their Washington site with the installation of four injection moulding machines which will boost capacity and flexibility across its moulding portfolio
With 20 machines now on site, ranging from 50T to 1,300T, the additions support growing demand across Omega’s customer base by increasing capacity across key areas of the mould shop. This increase in capacity will ensure that the site adheres to OPG’s principles of total quality lean manufacturing incorporating robot demoulding and packing with fully integrated conveyor systems, which all help ensure greater efficiency and process repeatability.
These additions will ensure OPG’s reputation for delivering comprehensive, value-added services continues to grow. Alongside the moulding they offer secondary assembly solutions, including complex component builds, custom packaging, Poka-Yoke quality checks, and traceable test systems. These services allow clients to consolidate suppliers and streamline production workflows.
