The Commercial Team welcomes our new Business Development Manager, Nathan Ashford, who will be responsible for new business sales for moulding and tooling.

As we move into Step 4 of the lifting of COVID restrictions from Monday 19 July we wanted to provide an update on our current operational status, the potential of some disruption from COVID isolation and supply chain, our working practices and how we are managing visitors to our sites, and our continued growth and investment.

We will be attending Medical Tech Innovation Exhibition in September located at the NEC, Birmingham.

Congratulations to Keith Moody who has been promoted to Head of Project at Omega Plastics. Keith’s role now involves leading the Projects Team and liaising alongside the respective Head of Departments at Omega Plastics Group.

We are happy to announce that Darren Evans has been appointed as our Head of Quality and Compliance. Darren first started consulting for us in September and was offered the role after displaying his valuable knowledge and experience in this area of work.

Given the recent changes to UK government guidance we want to update and reassure our customers, suppliers, and business partners in relation to our operational status. We also wanted to take the opportunity to give an update in relation to some exciting investment and new team members who have joined us.

We are pleased to announce that Tim Graham is joining Omega Plastics Group as our Moulding Programme Manager. After initially starting on a three-month temporary contract, Tim has been offered and accepted the full time role after demonstrating his strong skillset in this position

As indicated earlier in the week, we have reviewed the guidance for the new national restrictions which came into effect yesterday. We have made any necessary changes to how we are currently working, which we have explained below.

Our number one priority continues to be the safety of our colleagues and the communities in which we operate. We continue to follow the UK government guidance and to regularly review our working practices, to create COVID-secure workplaces at both sites to reduce the risk of infection from COVID-19.
