Omega Plastics Group can provide expert injection moulding project management support, all tailored to the specific requirements of your project.
The technical expertise of our project managers at Omega Plastics Group, who are all from design and toolmaking backgrounds, offer a hands-on approach which is designed to keep you informed throughout your project.
Expert injection moulding project management services
Offered as part of our plastic injection tooling and plastic injection moulding services, our team are expertly qualified to advise and provide technical support on all aspects of injection moulding project management, or injection moulding management, including Design For Manufacture (DFM), engineering changes, the overall injection moulding process and quality control.
At Omega Plastics Group, our project managers will collaborate with you to scope out your project, regardless of whether you require production tooling, rapid tooling or offshore tooling at low volume or high volume, two of the different types of injection moulding.
They will determine the feasibility of the product’s use, design and production to support them in the moulding process. Our team will also look for ways to optimise your costs to bring the product to market. As part of our injection moulding management service, you will have a single point of contact across Omega Plastics Group, as well as any other businesses involved in the process, including third party suppliers or intermediaries involved in the delivery of your injection moulding project.
This individual will work with you throughout the entire injection moulding process, from receipt of the PO through to the production release.
Our injection moulding management facilities
At Omega Plastics Group, many of our plastic injection tooling and plastic injection moulding services are conducted at our onshore facilities, either Omega Plastics in Gateshead – for toolmaking and the injection moulding process – or Signal Plastics in Washington – our specialist facility in high volume plastic injection mouldings.
Our offshore tooling capabilities are supplied by our specialist partners and our team has the capabilities to be onsite with our offshore partners to provide reassurance and part validation throughout the offshore process through to UK production.
Regardless of whether you require onshore or offshore tooling support, our injection moulding project management support is available for all projects. We also offer added value services as an additional package, which includes assembly, supply chain management and metrology and validation, to take your project that bit further and ensure our service remains a crucial turnkey solution.
We are proud to offer plastic services that cater for several sectors, including automotive, medical, consumer products, industrial and technical products and aerospace and defence.
As standard, you can expect to receive a timing plan on commencement of the injection moulding project, as well as weekly progress updates. This ensures your project moves swiftly along to your agreed delivery date.
